  • Although DeHypnosis uses selected techniques from classical hypnotherapy, the differences are considerable. DeHypnosis focuses on health rather than symptoms, avoids suggestions, aims at awareness rather than trance, and is rooted in the understanding of meditation – especially in the sense of Osho. According to Osho, we are all already hypnotised by our ideas: of being a Christian or a person with chronic, incurable pain. To awaken from this trance, DeHypnosis is needed – a method for deconditioning, becoming aware and dissolving old patterns.

At the same time, dehypnosis also refers to the process of gently ending hypnosis, for example by counting backwards. In doing so, the hypnotherapist must ensure that the client has truly returned from the trance state – this can sometimes take a few minutes.

  • If you think hypnosis is a magical cure that works without you doing anything, you will be disappointed. On the one hand, medical hypnosis has an impact on your subconscious and on the other, it will help you become more aware of your issues, while at the same time supporting you in dealing with them.

The more open you are to do that, the more profound and effective the sessions will be. In the end, it depends on you. With a professional by your side, this process will be made easier.

  • Neither one, nor the other! When performed correctly and reliably by a trustworthy professional, it is not dangerous. “Show hypnosis”, performed on stage not to heal, but ultimately for the purposes of entertainment, can sometimes be a different matter.

In a professional hypnosis one’s own will and ability to act not only remain; in fact, self-determination is even strengthened. Sessions take place in a trusting and protected environment.

Of course, self-hypnosis is also not dangerous. In general, people find it very agreeable and it can be used flexibly.

  • Hypnosis is a scientific therapeutic method that is being used in medicine, psychotherapy and increasingly also for coaching.

The world as we perceive it is based on the power of inner images that we store in our subconscious mind. When in a state of trance, which is essentially nothing else than focusing one’s attention, these images can easily be recognised and effectively being worked on through hypnosis.

In this context, learning methods of self-hypnosis is a very effective add-on, providing clients not only with the ability to work on their wellbeing themselves but also with a powerful tool for their health.

  • More or less everyone can be hypnotised. However, it usually depends on people really wanting it and being open to it. Self-hypnosis is very easy to learn for most people.

  • Mediation means unconditional presence, inner clarity and balance. It is the base for coping with the specific challenges of our accelerated, digital age. A variety of meditation techniques help to reach the actual state of meditation.

There are many different meditation techniques. I like to work with OSHO Active Meditations®. These always begin with a phase of physical or emotional activity – so inner restlessness can first be expressed and released. This activity consists, for example, of intense breathing, consciously shaking the body or using the voice. Only then does the phase of calm and stillness follow – and this is then perceived in a whole new, deeper way.

  • NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming and describes a concept that deals with the connection between thinking, language and behaviour. NLP assumes that our inner patterns – i.e. how we think, feel and act – are learned and can therefore also be changed.

In coaching, NLP is used to bring unconscious thought and reaction patterns into consciousness and develop new, more helpful ways of thinking and acting. The aim is to achieve greater inner clarity, flexibility and self-efficacy. When used correctly, NLP is a valuable complement to hypnosis and can support change in a gentle but profound way.

  • Yes, online hypnosis is just as effective as face-to-face sessions. Long before the pandemic, hypnosis and coaching sessions were successfully conducted online. Thanks to stable video platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet, hypnosis sessions can now take place anywhere, securely and in a calm atmosphere. Many clients even find it an advantage to be in their familiar surroundings – this promotes relaxation and concentration.

Scientific studies on online psychotherapy show that sessions via video conference are just as effective as face-to-face appointments. These findings can be directly applied to online coaching and online hypnosis. I have been working successfully with this form of hypnosis for years and wouldn't want to be without it – it is flexible, effective and completely suitable for everyday use.

  • The prices for my video courses and audiobooks are listed on the website because they are clearly defined and uniform.

Individual sessions are different: there are different services and areas of focus, each with its own price. Furthermore, I don't know you or your concerns – it is only during the free introductory meeting that we clarify together what you really need and how many sessions are likely to be useful. Sometimes this can be estimated approximately, sometimes less accurately.

Rest assured: the fees are entirely within the normal, usual range. Students can also request a discount.

  • There is no general answer to the question of how many sessions are needed, as each person has different circumstances and causes. However, it is sometimes possible to give rough guidelines.

In weight coaching, the average number of sessions for my clients in recent years has been around six until a lasting change is achieved – with natural variations above and below this figure.

For smoking cessation, the average is three to four sessions. However, depending on the degree of addiction, there can be significant variations.

In the area of personal development, I also offer longer-term support over several months up to a year.

How many sessions you actually need usually becomes clear after the initial consultation and the first few appointments. Each hypnosis or coaching session is tailored to your individual needs.
