General FAQ
-
Coaching is a professional form of guidance for people who want to change, clarify or further develop something in their lives. The focus is not on diagnoses, but on your goals, possibilities and inner resources. Coaching can help you gain clarity, discover new perspectives and find meaningful next steps.
Common topics include stress, self-doubt, decision-making, relationship patterns, professional challenges or the wish for personal growth.
Good coaching does not impose ready-made answers. It helps you recognise and implement your own answers more clearly.

Hypnosis is a scientifically recognised method used in medicine, psychotherapy and coaching. You do not lose control. Rather, you enter a state of pleasant inner focus. In this state, access to unconscious thoughts, emotions and habits often becomes easier. This can help you understand inner patterns more clearly and change them step by step.
Many people experience hypnosis as calming, relieving and clarifying. You are not “gone” or unconscious, but usually attentive and inwardly centred.
Hypnosis can be helpful for stress, anxiety, inner restlessness, unwanted habits or psychosomatic symptoms.
Learning self-hypnosis can be a valuable addition. It strengthens self-regulation and gives you a practical tool for everyday life.
-
Many people understandably ask this question. The short answer is: no. When applied seriously and professionally, hypnosis is a safe and well-established method. You do not become powerless and you do not lose control. Your own will, awareness and ability to decide remain intact. Nothing is forced on you “against your will.”
Many people even experience hypnosis as a particularly protected state: calm, clear and inwardly centred.
Confusion often comes from stage hypnosis, where the focus is entertainment and dramatic effects – not personal development or professional support.
Self-hypnosis is also generally a safe and pleasant method. Many people use it to relax, focus or regulate themselves more effectively in daily life.
-
In principle, the vast majority of people can experience hypnosis. What matters most is usually not a special talent, but the willingness to engage with the process. Some people enter a hypnotic state very quickly, while others need more time, trust or practice. Both are completely normal.
Hypnosis is not something you are “good” or “bad” at. It is more about relaxing inwardly, focusing and being open to your own process.
With experience, many people find it easier to relax more deeply and enter this state more quickly.
Self-hypnosis is also learnable for many people and can be a wonderful way to develop this ability further.

Yes, online hypnosis is an established and effective form of support.Long before the pandemic, I – like many colleagues – was already successfully offering hypnosis and coaching sessions online. Thanks to stable video platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet, sessions can now take place safely, conveniently and independent of location.
Many clients even see it as an advantage to be in their own familiar environment. This often supports relaxation, openness and concentration.
Scientific studies on online psychotherapy show that video-based sessions can be highly effective. In many areas, these findings can also be applied to online coaching and online hypnosis.
I have worked successfully in this format for years and especially value its flexibility, practicality and often very personal quality.
-
No. Medical hypnosis does not replace medical diagnostics or necessary treatment. However, it can be a valuable complement – especially when stress, inner tension, habits or emotional burdens influence or intensify symptoms.
The aim is to support self-regulation, inner calm and health-promoting processes. Depending on the topic, medical hypnosis can be used alongside ongoing medical treatment.
-
If you believe hypnosis is a magic solution that works without your participation, I may disappoint you. This can happen occasionally, but it is not the rule.Expectations in hypnosis should be realistic: medical hypnosis works partly through the subconscious, and at the same time supports you in bringing more awareness to your themes and actively engaging with them. In other words, you will not avoid working on your personal topic – with guidance and support.
The more actively you take part in the process, the more lasting the results can be. Professional guidance helps you move forward with greater clarity and ease.
-
This varies individually and depends on your topic, history, goals and the intensity of the issue. Some people experience clear changes after only a few sessions, while others prefer longer support. You can usually assume, however, that within only a few sessions – sometimes even sooner – you will get a good sense of whether this kind of work with me is right for you or not.
Selected examples for specific topics can be found further below.

The prices for my courses, video courses and audiobooks are listed on the website because these offers are clearly defined and structured.Individual sessions are different: there are different topics, focuses and possible forms of support. In addition, at the beginning I do not yet know you or your situation.
In the free introductory session, we clarify together what would be meaningful for you, what framework fits and what a possible collaboration could look like.
Please be reassured: the fees are within the normal and usual range. Students are welcome to ask about reduced rates.

You do not need to be able to sit still in order to meditate. This is a common misunderstanding. There are many different paths into meditation – also for people with inner restlessness, lots of energy or an active mind.
One example is the OSHO Active Meditations®. Here the process often begins with movement, conscious breathing, shaking, voice or emotional expression. Inner tension is first allowed to move before silence emerges.
Only afterwards comes the quiet phase. Many people experience this silence as especially deep, freeing and nourishing.
Meditation is not a performance test. It is a natural state of presence and awareness. That is why, ultimately, everyone can meditate – sometimes it simply requires the right approach.

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It explores how thinking, language, emotions and behaviour interact. Many inner patterns run automatically. NLP offers practical ways to become more aware of these patterns and gradually change them.In coaching, NLP can help identify limiting thought and reaction patterns, develop new perspectives and build more helpful behaviours. The aim is greater clarity, flexibility and self-efficacy in daily life.
When used responsibly and appropriately, NLP can be a valuable complement to coaching, hypnosis and meditation.

Although DeHypnosis uses selected techniques from classical hypnotherapy, there are important differences.DeHypnosis focuses more on health than symptoms, works as far as possible without suggestion, emphasises awareness rather than trance, and is influenced by the understanding of meditation – especially in the spirit of Osho.
The basic idea is that people often live in unconscious conditioning, assumptions and old inner programs. DeHypnosis aims to help people awaken more consciously from these patterns and gradually dissolve what is burdensome. It is therefore about awareness, deconditioning and inner freedom.
At the same time, DeHypnosis is sometimes also used to describe the gentle ending of a hypnosis session – for example through counting backwards and consciously returning to the normal waking state.
FAQ about specific topics and sessions
-
Yes. Hypnosis does not primarily focus on discipline or restriction, but on the unconscious patterns behind eating behaviour.Especially after many failed diets, this can be a fresh and helpful approach. Instead of fighting against yourself again, the aim is to better understand the deeper causes, change them sustainably and develop a new relationship with your body.
-
Often it is not only about food, but also about stress, habits, emotions and automatic patterns in daily life. When these inner triggers begin to change, a new relationship with food becomes possible. Many people first need to relearn how to notice hunger and satiety consciously and listen to these signals again.
The aim is a more natural relationship with food and your body – without constant struggle, pressure or deprivation.
-
In weight coaching, the rough average among my clients over recent years has been around six sessions until a sustainable change is reached.Natural variations in both directions are possible. Depending on your starting point, goals and personal process, it may be faster or take more time.
What matters is this: the change does not end with the last session. Through new behaviours and a changed body awareness, the process often continues beyond it.
-
For smoking cessation, the rough average among my clients is around three sessions.Depending on smoking habits, motivation, inner readiness and individual patterns, there can however be considerable variation in both directions.
-
A relapse does not mean that everything was for nothing. It is often more helpful to first think of it as a slip rather than a complete failure. What matters is what happens next. A single cigarette does not mean you are back at the very beginning. It may simply show where an inner vulnerability or an old pattern is still active.
The key is not to give up too quickly. Try to look honestly: what happened in that moment? What triggered the impulse? Exactly there can lie valuable information. Together, the slip can be understood and worked through so that it does not turn into a real relapse.
-
Anxiety coaching is intended for people without a clinically significant anxiety disorder and focuses on self-regulation, recognising patterns and personal development. In cases of pronounced anxiety with clinical relevance, assessment and treatment by a psychotherapist or psychiatrist are necessary.
-
Yes. The goal is not suppression, but a more conscious and kinder relationship with anxiety. You learn to understand your reactions better, recognise inner triggers and regulate yourself step by step more effectively.
As a result, anxiety often loses influence. This can allow you to experience more calm, clarity and ability to act in everyday life again.
-
Yes, especially then. Anger does not only show itself in open outbursts. It can also appear as inner pressure, irritability, withdrawal, chronic tension or uncontrolled release.Whether you tend to suppress anger or struggle to manage it, the sessions help you perceive anger more consciously, understand it better and use it constructively. In this way, it often becomes clearer and quieter over time.
-
It is suitable for people who want to change recurring patterns sustainably rather than look only for short-term solutions.Often these are themes that have shown themselves for years – in relationships, at work, in the relationship with oneself or in emotional self-regulation.
The long-term framework creates space for genuine development, stable integration into daily life and changes that are allowed to grow over time.
